Himalayan WhiteHouse College of Law successfully organized an orientation program for first-year students under its Street Law Program, a key component of Clinical Legal Education. The program aimed to enhance students’ practical understanding of law through real-world engagement and community-based learning. The college extends its sincere appreciation to the Traffic Office, Ramshahpath, for their valuable facilitation and expert contribution to the session.
The orientation provided students with a comprehensive overview of traffic rules, road safety measures, traffic signals, common violations, and the applicable legal framework in Nepal. This interactive session helped bridge the gap between theoretical legal studies and practical enforcement mechanisms, equipping students with essential legal awareness and civic responsibility.
As a continuation of this initiative, students will actively participate in a traffic volunteer program, allowing them to gain hands-on experience while contributing to public safety and legal literacy. This program forms an integral part of their clinical law engagement, reinforcing the importance of experiential learning in legal education. Through such initiatives, Himalayan WhiteHouse College of Law remains committed to promoting community-oriented legal education, professional development, and social responsibility among future legal practitioners.
