The Clinical Law Department at Himalayan WhiteHouse College of Law is committed to preparing practice-ready graduates by bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world legal practice. With a student-centered approach, the department engages students in hands-on experiences that expose them to real legal issues, fostering critical thinking, ethical responsibility, and effective problem-solving. Through initiatives such as legal aid clinics, client counseling, moot court competition, pre-trial preparations, and simulated casework, students gain practical insights into the functioning of the legal system under the guidance of experienced faculty and practicing lawyers. Additionally, students are taken on field visits to courts, jails, police stations, and other legal institutions, providing them with firsthand exposure to the justice system. This experiential learning model not only sharpens their legal skills but also builds the confidence and competence needed to thrive in the legal profession.
